Breathe

Better no doctor at all than three.
Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know.
Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.

Time sure flies, 65% of the time I was having a good time during my week, that’s better than nothing right?

Rewind time:
Wednesday I cursed and swore at the eCR system… i hope my appeal to change modules will be accepted…then gain, I have to write in again for them to know what I want… X.X…. it’s all their fault… I am a victim of the system…
-starts pulling hair out-
Went for the meeting with my group at AWWA then proceeded to YMCA for the workshop… then rushed down to PLKCC for training… I din take part in the training coz I din bring my gi down… too mah huan to carry it all over the place, too many things to worry about lah~
At training, I took the brown and black-tip kids for their patterns… basically I ran through all the patterns with them from yellow upwards and down again. But I am getting ahead of myself, when I got to the CC, Ian was the one taking them, but they were and are so worthy of a proper spanking that he asked me to take over half way. My poor Shuai Ge… seriously, the kids are very the naughty and I can do their patterns a heck of a lot better than they can – any day of the week and twice on training days. I spent most of my time making them redo the patterns and trying to get them to do the patterns correctly. Poom belts must have some standard right? If it were up to me, I wouldn’t let them go for the grading until they are good and ready….and that will be a long time away…
-huge sigh-

Thursday and Friday was spent in Bethel for the BCM community kids day camp. Nadia was kind enough to let me hitch a ride to church with her on both days. Thanks Nadia! The kids are one of a kind. I have never met children whom I have had to spend more than half the time raising my voice at. They were naughty and all candidates for the ‘complain price’ and ‘complain princess’ awards. They picked fights with one another and were sore losers when it came to the games. Many a time I could hear more than one of them saying: “They (the other group) cheated ah!” or “They said that we are lousy ah!”
You try having more than 12 hours of that and tell me what you would do.
Although they were naughty and such, I can not discount the fact that the kids have a lot of fighting spirit. They tried their best at a lot of the activities which we planned for them. The bad apples can still be saved. I have faith that they can be.
I had to work in the evenings of both days, so you can imagine how tired I was at the end of both days. I scolded and screamed so much in the day time, I did not have the energy to keep my kids in line during the evening.
Me thinks me have to come up with a new tactic to keep the order during class…
-pulls out a foolscap and starts jotting down ideas-

oh gosh~
The floor is full of my hair….
-grabs broom and starts sweeping-

As tired as I was, I got up early to go to YMCA for the workshop which my group signed up for. It was interesting and I got to make new friends. It’s amazing what one can learn from just looking at a picture or listening to a piece of music. Ah~ the beauty of life.
We got a free lunch after the workshop. Heeheee…
After finishing our stuff at YMCA, Swee Shoon, Yilinn and myself went to Plaza Singapura to walk around.
Yilinn’s parents picked her up and that left me and Swee Shoon to go to the Orchard Library to pick up books… wah so long I never read comic books liao ah, oh how I miss my X-Men.
-swoons-
Channel 5 is showing Spider-Man this coming Sunday!
-swoons even more-
Now all I have to do is find time to read my books… *sigh*
I am looking forward to getting back my reading habit. Heehoo~
We went home rather late… it is very easy to forget time when one is in the library. With books, strong the force is.

Went to PLMC to witness TKM’s baptism yesterday, YKM and Mum also came along. I was moved to tears during the service. Wah – the power of God. Once service was done, I went down to Plaza Singapura to meet Hui Fen, Glann, Eileen, Dan and Chi Foong.
The TKD National team went down to PLKCC for a demonstration, but I was not able to make it due to the baptism, so Chi Foong helped me take pictures of the demo. Very nice~ Can’t wait to get them from him. He still owes me the video clips …heh… have to chase him for the stuff… haha…
We walked around PS for the rest of the time and spent time in the different shops; we even went to Yamaha to ‘bang’ the pianos there. Music… I love… ran into Jeff and Winston at the guitar shop too… haha….small world… ate Japanese food for dinner and then proceeded to Kovan and while there, we ran into Winnie and Andrew… haha~ Small Singapore…
Got home all bushed and happy. :D
Key word of the day: ‘pok’
The rest of the group spent their money until I had to help them pay for part of their dinners… Nian qing ren ah nian qing ren~ :P
Sleep last night was good. I was stoned out by the activities of the week.

A new week, with more stuff on my agenda.
Got camp, meetings, trainings, outings with family and friends.
The week is going to be complete indeed.

Jia: “wat modules are u taking?”
I signed up for POA, ICP, HRM and MRKG… but I am appealing to change my modules… bloody eCR give me a lot of problems… *grrrrrr*
How about you? Still planning to transfer to PT?

Kimi: “I've completed my task in making the baby hamper!! Really hamper cos I bought a basket and plastic foil to wrap! Hehehe”
Woohoo~ ok! Can get to see it on Tuesday! Heehee….den we can go and pass it to them on the same night ya? :D
See you on Tuesday… got a lot of people going to turn up…. Hahaha…. Donno if Auntie April’s got enough space ah~ hahhahaa…

Yong Jet!
How was your holiday?
When you want to go chiong Jap food?

Ok…let the week commence!
Woohooo~
Have a good one you all!
Cheers!
